The Early Years, Primary and Secondary CPD programme offers a wide variety of courses, both as a subscription package and standalone. The courses aim to support leaders and practitioners to develop high quality provision in their own schools. Delegates will be required to bring along a portfolio of Year 2 writing and maths evidence from their school to moderate with other schools against the standard statements.

Pre Key Stage standards moderation workshop

Description
During this session delegates will have an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the KS1 and KS2 Pre Key Stage standards.


The session will include:
  • An overview of the KS1 and KS2 Pre Key Stage standards for reading, writing and mathematics
  • The opportunity to moderate with other schools against the new Pre Key Stage standards

Delegates will be required to bring along samples of work from pupil(s) at their school to moderate with colleagues against the Pre Key Stage standard statements.

When considering samples of work to bring delegates may wish to focus on boarderline pupils, including those who may have evidence against the criteria for ‘Working Towards the Expected Standard’.

Description
These meetings aim to keep subject leaders up to date with national, regional and local priorities and initiatives in music and, in particular, the opportunities made available through the Royal Greenwich Music Hub.
