Pre Key Stage standards moderation workshop

Description
During this session delegates will have an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the KS1 and KS2 Pre Key Stage standards.


The session will include:
  • An overview of the KS1 and KS2 Pre Key Stage standards for reading, writing and mathematics
  • The opportunity to moderate with other schools against the new Pre Key Stage standards

Delegates will be required to bring along samples of work from pupil(s) at their school to moderate with colleagues against the Pre Key Stage standard statements.

When considering samples of work to bring delegates may wish to focus on boarderline pupils, including those who may have evidence against the criteria for ‘Working Towards the Expected Standard’.

Description
This course specifically focuses on meeting the needs of children with an ASD in the Foundation Stage. It covers:

This session will explore best practice opportunities for developing mathematical reasoning and writing approaches in Years 3 and 4 and will include:
