Thank you for visiting the Direct Services to Schools website.
We are pleased to advise that the Professional Development Centre is in the process of reopening. Whilst all training continues to be completed virtually at present, we are working on implementing required changes to be able to recommence face to face training and events from November 2020.
A number of courses are available to book in the usual way, via the website and course availability will continue to expand. If there are any courses that you are looking to complete that are not detailed on the website, please get in touch and we can advise of availability. There will continue to be a mixture of face to face and virtual courses and various courses that are held virtually will be reduced in cost by approximately 10% to that advertised (Please note virtual package costs include any discounts).
Should you have any queries or need to discuss any services, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We wish you all the best and look forward to welcoming you back to the PDC when we reopen.
Delivering the best outcomes for children and young people is our shared priority. Therefore, high quality, professional services are paramount for your schools’ performance.
We value the relationship we have with our schools and this long-standing partnership has enabled us to expand on our excellent and local understanding of school priorities.
We are committed to continuous improvement and always strive to make changes for the better. It is, therefore, great to receive feedback from both staff and young people to highlight how beneficial you find our services:
"The support offered was really valuable and the impact measurable. Many students were able to receive early intervention, improving well-being and self-esteem, which inevitably will improve attainment."
An inclusion manager at a Royal Greenwich school regarding the Outreach Learning Mentor team
"Supporting me to my abilities, helping me understand what I am doing and helping me work to my best abilities makes me believe I can do it if I want to, and always want to succeed."
An 18-year-old service user regarding the SEND and ASD Outreach Services
We are sure you will agree that our services continue to provide both value for money and a strong and wide-ranging portfolio, for both maintained schools and academies.
